The Xbox 360 Slim which was announced and released during this year’s E3 might already be having problems. Images have been discovered on a Forum showing an Xbox 360 Slim with the “Red Dot of Death”- It’s the same as the Red Ring of Death- The Forum, NeoGaf has not confirmed whether or not the images are 100% real, but the images posted show one of the Xbox 360 Slim with the RDOD, and another image showing the error message on the Dashboard. Source: gamersyndrome.com/2010/xbox-360/xbox-360-slim-overheating-issues-already-appearing/Looks like Microsoft didn't want to spend 20 cents on a couple washers fixing it's hardware error.

You don't have to pay MicroSoft to fix any hardware malfunctions. And they don't actually win, they spent a billion dollars to extend the warranties of all xboxes for 3 years! To fix any issues they had (Even the first batch that had multiple issues.) news.teamxbox.com/xbox/13876/Microsoft-Extends-Xbox-360-Warranty-to-Three-Years/This links a little old. They've actually extended it pass just the 3 years since the date it was bought.
