Since this is October, I think it would be cool for people to suggest the best anime to watch during this spooky month or holiday.
Movie-wise, you can't go wrong with the two movie series: Karas: The Prophecy and Karas: The Revelation. They feature intense, kinetic battles and a story that moves forward lightning fast. It's dark, creepy, fun.
If you're looking for a longer series, I have a few good picks.
The top of the list would be Tokyo Majin. It's about 5 high schoolers that gain supernatural powers and fight to protect their town from demon attacks and evil organizations. It's one of my favs. It's action packed spooky fun.
If you're in the mood for something more psychological, I have two picks for you. First, Hell Girl. It's about a website that lets you input the name of a person that is tormenting you. Hell Girl will then offer to spirit them to hell but in return, when you die, your soul will also belong to hell. Next, When They Cry [Higurashi in japanese]. It's an intense mystery revolving around the same Demon-honoring festival that occurs each year. Each arc tells a story from the view of a different main character. The mystery will pull you in and won't let go until you get the answers.
So how about it? What other good picks are out there? I've heard Tokko is pretty is good but have not seen it and don't know much about it.

Tokko is about a section of the Jap govt that is established to combat demons released a few decades ago. All the members of the section serve as a vessel for said demons but through sheer force of will made the demons submit to them and thus attained their power. Its 13 episodes, 17+ rating and overall 75-85 on a 100 point scale (in my opinion).
My recommendation would be Requiem from the Darkness which details the journey of an author to write 100 ghost stories and his encounters with 3 demons who act to cleanse the human world of evil (specifically humanity's darker desires). 12 episodes, 15+(though I'd call it 17-18 personally, mainly for the mental imagery) and 85-90 on a 100 point scale.

My recommendation would be the uncut episodes of Pokemon from Season one, with the Ghost Tower and then the Psychic trainer.
And the episode where Brock gets involved with a dead ninetails. Yup, implied necro-beastiality.
